NeuroTracker is a 3D virtual system designed to improve the perceptual and cognitive abilities of the individual. It isolates and trains the attentional mechanisms linked to vision. Using NeuroTracker, the individual works to increase their speed of visual analysis and increase the duration of concentration.
In just 15 sessions with NeuroTracker, the individual is able to improve his level of mental performance. It is possible to incorporate specific tasks into training, while making the athlete work on his cognitive abilities. NeuroTracker allows you to maximize your attentional resources, which are shared between your mental focus and your physical abilities, under pressure.
Target Audience
1. Athletes
2. ADHD
3. Concussions
4. Anyone wishing to improve their concentration
NeuroTracker isolates and trains mental resources that are necessary for the perception of complex movements in a dynamic environment. These perceptual and cognitive resources are known to be sensitive to damage caused by concussions.
When starting to use NeuroTracker, the athlete obtains a baseline score. Afterwards, the specialist can determine, in collaboration with a healthcare professional, whether the athlete who has received a blow to the head has a concussion. To do this, he compares the athlete's new results with his reference score. In the event of a concussion, the athlete may not return to play until he meets his benchmark score standards.
NeuroTracker is software that uses objective data to assess whether a player is cognitively ready to return to the game. This system is therefore useful for the diagnosis and assessment of head injuries.
The benchmark test consists of three sessions. It first of all makes it possible to measure the progress of the individual throughout the process initiated with NeuroTracker. In addition, it is an objective indication during the process of returning to play after a concussion.
The development phase improves the attention span of the individual in just 12 sessions.
The consolidation phase includes 15 sessions. This phase allows you to add basic skills such as standing or balancing.
The development phase includes an additional 5 sessions. This phase increases the level of difficulty of the secondary tasks requested. These are more specifically related to the individual such as handling a puck, receiving a ball or answering mathematical questions.
